Cupcakes..Who Knew!
I have always turned down orders for cupcakes. Seemed like a lot of work for such a little bitty thing. Boy was I wrong! So was it my ego, my arrogance or my ignorance that had me working in the dark ages? I learned that others have been struggling with slimey buttercream too...but the answers are at my fingertips. This is where I learn to accept, and embrace, my limitations and hence the limitations of others too. Cupcakes!!! Who knew!

- I went to RISD and FIT for apparel design. After transfering to back to my home town, New York, I found a P/T job as a salesperson at the "Erotic Baker" (WOW- That was a long time ago). Karen & Patrika were the wife & wife owners. I'll never forget the 2 of them, for sure! They posted crotch shots of women from Playboy on the back room wall cause when I decorated the vagina cakes, I would always make them upside down! I was an Erotic Baker for many, many years and hence have become Delicious by Vanda, caterer and event planner bar none! I love what I do...never give up the dream!
